How to increase your vocabulary
There are four ways to learn a language-listening, speaking, reading and writing. If you really want to Have a better command over the language, you must read and read a lot. You can start reading with magazines, newspapers, short stories, film scripts and novels. Find something that interests you. Keep a notebook and pen handy and note down all the words that you don’t know. Use a dictionary to find out the words which are new to you. Find their meanings and use them into your sentences. This will help you to retain the words.
Actively use the new words in your writing, Writing is another important aspect of learning new words and using them in your day today life. Write whatever you find interesting to write- paragraph, short story, letter, journal...anything and everything you can write about.
